NAILING TO THE CROSS (GOLGOTHA)
This picture was acquired by the Pushkin Museum as a work by an anonymous Italian master of the 17th century and later attributed to Salvator Rosa and Filippo Napoletano. The painter of this canvas had links with a circle of such masters as Aniello Falcone and Domenico Gargiulo.
Acquired by the Pushkin Museum in 1950.
